Superclean’s Active Involvement In Training People With Disabilities

Earlier this year Superclean sponsored training of 5 unemployed people with disabilities on the Domestic Cleaning Learnership which was registered with PMI as the lead Training provider. PMI in partnership with I CAN, which is a training provider that specifically focuses on the training of people with disabilities have successfully trained hundreds of disabled learners on various learnership programmes. The 5 learners sponsored by Superclean are still currently on the learnership, which is due for completion in March 2014. Superclean is actively involved in the monitoring of these learnerships to ensure that all learners successfully complete the programme which will result in them gaining skills, knowledge and an accredited qualification which will increase their opportunities for employment. Further to this project, Superclean was approached by I CAN to get involved on one of their other projects to assist approximately 28 Learners with gaining workplace experience towards completing a Hygiene & Cleaning Learnership. These learners are receiving the knowledge based component and some part of the practical component directly from the training provider, however in order to for them to successfully complete the learnership, they also require relevant onsite practical training.
