Getting involved at the Volvo Golf Championships!
Super Clean were recently privileged enough to be involved in the Volvo Golf Championships, held at the Durban Country Club. We currently doing the cleaning at the Durban country club, so it was an exciting opportunity to be able to bring in our Super Labour and Super Hospitality divisions. Our passionate team arranged the waiters, ticket sellers, pamphlet distributers and even the hostesses. We were able to all pull together as a team and execute a successful and memorable event. The Durban Country Club is a renowned Championship course with an impressive résumé having hosted the South African Open on no less than 17 occasions. It enjoys beautiful vistas overlooking the Indian Ocean and, with its undulating fairways, lush vegetation and sand dunes is considered one of the most unique and challenging courses in the world. It was recently voted one of the Top 100 golf courses in the World by Golf Magazine USA and is undoubtedly a shot maker’s course that players will have to think their way around. We congratulate Louis Oosthuizen on his victory and we are proud that the South Africans have kept up the good work but winning this trophy now 2 years in a row. Rene du Toit would like to personally thank Steve du Toit (Moses Mabhida contract Manager), Shaun Lee (Hospitality Area manager), Neil Withers (Hospitality Manager), Joel Berger (Financial Manager) and Terri Swales (Personal Assistant) for the hard and effort work they put in for this event. They were all involved in organising and managing the staff for the event and received wonderful feedback from the Event organisers from Volvo. This was a great way to kick off 2013 and we hope to be involved in many more big events during the year.
